Christ seated facing on low-backed throne, flanked by IC - XC, raising his right hand in blessing and holding Book of Gospels in his left; all within double pelleted circle. Rev. hVGO•RЄX•CYPRI• Hugh I standing facing, bearded and crowned, holding long cross in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left; all within double pelleted circle. CCS 6. Metcalf, Crusades, 631. Wäckerlin -. Rare. Well centered and unusually complete for this difficult issue. Faint scratches, otherwise, very fine.
